Cardiovascular disease: numbers don’t lie. Twenty five percent of the Dutch people eventually dies of cardiovascular disease. Although during the last 40 years mortality due to cardiovascular disease has decreased steadily, the last few years this decrease has declined (source: Dutch Heart Foundation). To further reduce the number of patients and mortality, scientific research is essential. For that, we need you!
